A Month In a Nutshell

Wow...so I don't have a very good track record of blogging. Lots fill my to-do list everyday and it seems that blogging is last on that list. I can't promise anything, but I am going to try for my blogs not to be a month apart!
It seems like Spring Break has been on everyone's brain the past month. Its sad to say that its officially over now. I was fully aware of this fact when I came back to a 30 degree Auburn with loads of homework.
Only seven more weeks remain left in my freshman year. That fact is bitter-sweet at the moment. Seven more weeks till summer and seven more weeks left with my friends before a 3 month absence.
Our week at the beach was way more fun and exciting than we ever imagined. So many funny memories fill my mind when I think back over the week-I wouldn't know where to start on that blog. But here's a few pictures I'll leave you.

A Little Catch Up

Its been a while since I've updated the good'ole blog. A lot has happened since last Tuesday (actually a lot happens in just one day of college life).
To recap on my past week: Elections have been in full swing around Auburn. A Kappa Delta sister, Kristi McGahee, won Miss Auburn! I've visited the Auburn hospital (and hospitals are NOT my thing). I laughed harder than I ever thought possible on the way there and back while eating candy off the floor of a car. I visited two cities this past weekend. Both of my trips to Montgomery and Birmingham were filled with lots of laughter and eating with great friends. Katie, I just have one question for you, "Did you just pop a zit?" To finish up the great weekend, I painted a baby's room and still have paint and primer all over my body!
I hate I don't have any pictures to put up for an update. I did take one on the trip to the hospital but I was told that if I put it up I would get sued. And as for our weekend pictures...they were planned, but never actually got taken. I don't think you can take a picture of the laughter and great conversations we had over the weekend.

Just What the Doctor Ordered

This past weekend my family packed up our sweatpants and tshirts and headed to the beach. It was a perfect weekend of sleeping, eating and more sleeping. We rented the best beach house (points for mom) and enjoyed a fire in it every second of the weekend.

Between all the Girl Scout Cookies, donuts, and seafood, we found time to make Valentines cupcakes. We also rode bikes, shopped and watched movies to complete our relaxing weekend. It was an all over perfect weekend for our family to spend together. A little R&R is just what we needed!

and the fun begins

I never thought this day would come so soon. I thought it would be much later in my life when I had a family or something more interesting going on in my life (as if college wasn't interesting enough)- today, February 12th, I officially started my blog. Why miss out of all the fun of the blogging world? I should go on and start now! So here's my first blog of (hopefully) many more to come.
